November 18, 2016 at 9:46 AM

Weight Loss Protein BarsThere are a lot of protein bars on the market, but not all protein bars are created equal. When you’re choosing a protein bar that will work for you rather than against you, make sure it has at least 3 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein. Now we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite and best protein bars that may help you toward your own fitness goals & weight loss goals.

Quest Bars

Quest bars have an average of 15g of protein per serving, 3g or more of fiber, and less than one gram of sugar. This makes them a top seller in terms of protein bars. In addition, Quest bars come in several different flavors, and many vote the apple pie, cinnamon roll, mint chocolate chip, and chocolate chip cookie dough flavors as being among the most delicious to try.

Kind Bars

While Kind bars don’t have as much protein as a Quest bar, they also have a natural ingredient list and will give you natural energy to help power you through a workout without a crash. While they’re higher in fat than other bars, it all comes from natural ingredients rather than any artificial ones and taste great.

Kind bars come in multiple flavors that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. Each bar contains 200 calories, 6 grams of protein and 5 grams of sugar. If you haven't tried these, we highly suggest picking one up next time you are at the store and give it a try. We bet you won't regret it!

Clif Bars

Clif bars are usually high in both protein and fiber. Many of the Clif protein bars have at least 10g of protein and about 5g of fiber, and are made with organic oats and soybeans. And because they come in several different flavors, you’re sure to find one that meets your taste preferences.

Odwalla Bars

Odwalla protein bars pack in 14g of protein and 4g of fiber, which is what you should be looking for in a protein bar. The sugar count for the bar is a little high at 17g, but it’s still a good choice if you’re on the go. It’s also rated as vegan, which means that vegetarians and vegans alike can enjoy this bar. Odwalla bar flavors are also a favorite as they have an assortment from apple, banana, mango and the list goes on. Check these out the next time you are at your local grocery store.

Healthwise Protein Bars

Healthwise protein bars come in various different flavors, but each of these protein bars usually has at least 12g of protein and only 155 calories. The fiber count can be a little low for some of them, but they’re worth it as a quick snack between meals to get some extra protein in your diet.

The next time you’re looking for a good protein bar, consider picking up one of these five. And if you’re looking for a way to help with your weight loss or fitness goals, give us a call to learn how we can help. Check out a full list of protein drinks, protein bars and more.
