Dr. Antonio D'Aria

Dr. Antonio D’Aria is a well-established primary care physician, certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has a long record of exceptional medical care and currently manages a focused medical practice in Branford, CT

Geoffrey

Geoffrey is the Manager of Medical Weight Loss Solutions where he also manages client relations. Geoff is a crucial component in supporting our clinical and nutritionist in CT. He is responsible for the selection of all nutritional products for our medical weight loss centers. Geoff is an expert on all the product and vitamin supplement lines and therefore assists each client in selecting the appropriate items designed for their specific program. Geoff’s ability to help others in improving their health creates a positive environment that supports long-term success.* He coaches clients on how to manage their weight loss while delivering exceptional customer service. Geoff understands and empathizes with those who are trying to change their lives through diet and exercise and works diligently with them to achieve their goals.

Prior to Medical Weight Loss Solutions, Geoff worked at Medica for two years, performing many of the same functions he does now. Together Geoff and Kym manage daily operations of Medical Weight Loss Solutions. Geoff’s prior experience also includes two years working at Family Practice Internal Medicine in North Haven, CT and two years as a Counselor at Healthworks’ Camp Tiowa, where he managed and supervised health-oriented youth summer programs.

Shirley, APRN

Shirley Samy is an adult nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience.  Her experience in emergency medicine and primary care has given her an excellent background to care for adults with acute and chronic illness/injury.

She received her Bachelors in Nursing from Western CT State University and her Masters in Nursing from Yale University. During this time, she also served in the CT Army National Guard as enlisted medic deploying to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. When she became a nurse, she accepted a commission in the US Army Reserves. After earning her Nurse Practitioner Certification, she served in CT Air National Guard as the Chief Nurse of the Bradley Air Guard Base and was deployed to Germany during the Afghanistan crisis. She is currently retired from the military after achieving many decorations and awards in peacetime and war. She is enjoying veteran status.

Shirley is currently practicing full time in Cheshire and Wallingford in Primary Care.   She holds clinical faculty appointments at Yale University School of Nursing and Quinnipiac University School of Nursing. Shirley is privileged to care for many men and women in the area and has a special interest in health promotion and disease prevention. 

Carol, LPN

Carol recieved her training at Eli Whitney Vocational Tech. and has been an LPN since 1994. She has worked at St Raphaels Hospital and Gaylord Specialty Healthcare. Carol has been with the practice since 2015 and her 20+ years of experience in the nursing field has been a vital asset in helping patients reach their goal weight.
